In today’s world of Law suits and liability claims, expanding your pupil’s / members horizons by offering them more adventurous and exciting activities is a real nightmare. On the one hand you’ve got teachers/ leaders who are understandably reluctant to commit themselves to such activities whilst on the other, the cost of running such events can be wholly restrictive.

Up until now your options have been to :

A) Rely on the goodwill of your staff / leadersto organize and run extra curricular activities.

B) To arrange visits to activity centres which

i) involves a lot of organization & time

ii) can be very costly (a good proportion of which is the cost of transport)

Activ-8 Adventure has been set up to try to help resolve these challenges- we can provide a bespoke service that not only achieves your goals but can also be tailored to your budget. We provide the whole package for a fraction of the cost of taking your pupils / members to an activity centre. Here are just a few examples of what we can provide :

1. Schooltime Activities : Whether it’s a games afternoon or the summer “activity week” we can either :

Bring the activity to you :- Archery, Problem solving, Pioneering, Air rifle Shooting…..

Or take you to the Activity : In our 17 seater Activity Bus we will transport your pupils / members offsite to do : Canoeing, Kayaking, Raft Building, Survival Skills, Mountain Biking, Climbing , Abseiling…..

These activities will often not require a member of staff / leader to be in attendance or if they do we can often use a classroom assistant / parent helper.

2. After School Clubs: similar activities to above can be run but on an after school basis.

3. GCSE, Key Stage 1& 2 and / or Duke of Edinburgh Awards can all be encompassed within our activity programs.

4. Summer Camps- Again we can provide the whole package from Transport, food, equipment plus all the activities. Whether its canoe camping in Norfolk or an Adventure holiday in Jersey.

We are fully insured, Norfolk County Council (Ed.) CRB Approved, with NRB qualifications in all relevant disciplines. Our Activity Bus and Driver are fully PSV/ PCV registered and qualified. We like to think that we can help you to broaden your pupils horizons and open their eyes to new and exciting sports and activities without incurring massive costs or having to ask your staff to accept high levels of responsibility.

After School & Holiday Clubs

Throughout the year we run after school clubs these can either be single activity or multi activity. They run over a 6 weekly period, with Sessions running from 4– 5.15 p.m. & 5.30—6.45 p.m.

(Canoeing and Kayaking Sessions will run from 4—6.15 due to set up and travelling time)
